Cities are unique ecosystems and artificial human hand is present in each of the spaces of the components. However, many animals have adapted their lifestyle to survive there, the trash and garbage they feed, and find plenty of nooks and crannies for shelter, rest and reproduce without fear. In the end, many of them are safer in the cities, because there is no natural predators inhabit.

Storks have adapted very well, for many years to live in the tallest towers of European cities. They come from the hand of spring and are installed in the same nests they built seasons ago.

The starling is a bird that feeds on worms and insects, but can also eat leftover food that is in its path. For this reason and because it tends to take over the nests of other birds, has adapted well to urban life.

Geckos are small reptiles that inhabit the terraces and gardens of the city. Its legs have suction cups that allow them to adhere to the walls and climb them.

The lakes and ponds of the parks are frequented by waterfowl, such as ducks and swans, in addition to finding a place to dive are fed by walkers, whose presence is usually easily.

In the port cities often see sea lions. The ports are ideal for these monumental mammals, because they get fish and are also protected by killer whales and sharks offshore, which are their natural predators.

Raccoons are carnivorous and use their front legs to grasp and hold food. So I do not find it difficult to find food in garbage cans. They settle in the crevices of the roofs of the houses and raise their young there. They also tend to walk around the gardens.

Bats are flying mammals that have adapted to live on top of some buildings or under bridges. They produce high-frequency sounds, colliding with objects, bounce and allow them to locate prey and objects in their environment.

The animals scorpions or scorpions are related to spiders and, like them, live with human beings in all environments from very ancient times. They feed on insects, especially cockroaches, so typical of cities. They live in the tunnels and sewers, where there is moisture.

Dogs and cats are animals for thousands of years in contact with humans, so much so that it is hard to imagine that once were not here ..., dogs are among the world's best known mammals and took the man as head of his herd in prehistoric times. The cats were adopted and venerated by many peoples of antiquity, and now live almost entirely in homes, as pets, or freely in the world's cities.

In the first part of the exotic animals that have become pets, we tell you how it had changed in recent times choosing pets. We talked about the responsible care of animals such as belonging to the natural fauna of forests, jungles and deserts, and are not appropriate to the place in which they are introduced.

Today we talk specifically about some of these new pets:

a) Ferrets: animals in need of care are similar to those of cats, including with respect to vaccination. They can eat special food for cats and supplement your diet with boiled eggs and liver.

b) The reptiles: lizards and chameleons need a heat source that allows them to regulate their body temperature. They must have fresh food and water for hydration, since, despite living in hot, also need to incorporate water into your body.

c) The snakes are animals from tropical environments and must maintain similar climatic conditions to those of their habitat. This uses infrared spotlights and fog generators that keep moisture in the snake.

d) The coatis: mammals are typical of the warmer parts of America. They have a long pointed snout and legs ending in strong claws that allow them to pierce the toughest soils. They eat insects, fruit, eggs and meat.

e) Hedgehogs: land, are insectivorous animals, small and covered with spikes. They grow and reproduce easily in captivity and, like cats, sandboxes used to deposit their droppings. Require insects for food, a mild climate all year round and a guard to rest.

f) Skunks: have perianal glands that give them a distinctive odor. If adopted as pets often are removed by a surgical intervention.

g) Tarantulas: are spiders that eat insects such as flies, locusts, cockroaches and crickets. Water not offered directly but through a swab or vaporizing the place where they live. They tend to get used to living in glass containers with lids and an area of stones to hide easily. If they get angry, irritating hairs can break their back legs.

The turtles are oviparous, that is, the females lay eggs. However, do not care, the eggs are incubated by the heat radiated by the sun. When they hatch, the young are already developed.
They have short powerful legs, strong nails terminated, allowing them to move in any terrain. They are animals that walk a lot and therefore need to have room to roam.
Like all reptiles have the body covered with scales. They have no teeth, but possess some powerful jaws and a mouth covered with a sheet cornea.
The turtles are terrestrial are herbivores and obtain water from their food. Meanwhile, those living in the seas are usually carnivorous and feed on jellyfish, molluscs and crustaceans.
When temperatures drop, tortoises dig burrows in the ground to overwinter. Their bodies change: decrease its vital functions, low temperature and come into a lethargy that lasts all winter.
The turtle neck is retracted into the shell with a movement similar to the folding of a telescope.
His body is protected by a shell composed of bony plates covered by a horny layer. The back has a convex form and above, called dungarees, is flat. Both parts are joined to protect and preserve the internal organs of the body temperature. The vertebrae and the ribs merge into the interior of this structure to make it more resilient.
Sure many of you have adopted as pets for small turtles Trachemys. Some turtles that live in ponds, rivers and shallow streams. As are semiaquatic spend part of the day in the water and another on land, in the sun.
Fans of this type of animal must prepare tanks where there is enough space for them to swim at ease and also receive good sunlight.
